RTCG welcomes high school aged young men and women who are dedicated to preparing themselves to compete in collegiate golf and experience the wonderful life benefits of being a college student-athlete.
RTCG, with the mentorship of Coach Ted Gleason, provides junior golfers and their families a comprehensive and appropriate plan to navigate junior golf and the college process. RTCG also assists each junior golfer in taking an honest inventory of their current academic and golf abilities as well as their corresponding commitment to both and then assisting the junior golfer to identify potential "best fit" universities based the aforementioned factors. Additionally, RTCG assists in putting together an appropriate tournament schedule, formulating a quality resume, understanding the NCAA Recruiting rules and timelines, guidance on communicating effectively with college coaches, and setting up purposeful practice sessions.
RTCG provides not only guidance and mentorship in navigating junior golf and the college process, but each junior golfer will benefit from having a former successful Division I college student-athlete and Division I college coach mentor them as they strive to have their daily habits align with their long term goals.
RTCG develops for each junior golfer a program to maximize the experience and the effectiveness of their time with Coach Gleason based on their individual needs and strengths.
All clients are expected to be committed to the following:
Competing in a Regional/National tournament schedule throughout the year
Consistent work with a certified swing instructor
Open to coaching and mentorship by Coach Gleason
Strength and conditioning program
Personal growth and development (proper nutrition, goal setting and mental training)
Regular access to practice facility and golf course
Preparing for a life as a college student-athlete
Taking a regular and honest inventory of their daily habits to ensure they align with their college ambitions
