Tribute

My greatest teacher and hero has always been my dad, David Gleason. He passed away in September of 2006 from cancer. This page is in memory and tribute to him as he certainly was the most influential person in my life. I am so grateful he introduced me to the game of golf and along with my mom Janet, provided me unconditional love and support throughout all my life and golfing experiences. I equally feel blessed to have such a supportive and loving family in my wife, Alicia, our children Connor, Riley, Ellis, and all of family and friends. Thank you for supporting my passion and dreams!

Tribute

David, Dave, Dad, Daddio, Pops, Grandpa, Grandpa Dave and Papa G could be heard from all of us who knew David W. Gleason. He was our leader and is our hero. He never met a stranger and certainly looked at everyone he met from the inside out, not the outside in. He preached core values of integrity, truth and how important a man's "word" was to another man. He touched you with his smile and had a sincere interest in what you were about, but certainly did not refrain from sharing his opinions. His time professionally was filled with passion, commitment, dedication and getting resolution on all issues. His time as a human being was dedicated to his wife, Janet, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He was passionate about family, golf, cards, and politics and wasn't afraid to talk about those with anybody. Mesothelioma did not defeat his spirit rather it propelled him to an even greater perspective that he shared with all of us which he articulated as "joy", "love", "forgiveness", "don't let things go unsaid", being "thankful" for your blessings and "hope" that tomorrow would come. He will be missed every day and his legacy will continually be one of inspiration me and all our family and friends. Love you, Dad.
